Skydiet needed a web platform that could keep up with fast-changing shareholder requests without turning into a pile of one-off components and inconsistent UI.
I worked full-stack on the platform with React, TypeScript, React Query, and AWS, and built a Storybook-based Atomic Design component library covering 40+ components with centralized TypeScript types. I set up CI/CD with Playwright, Vitest, and RTL, and used AI agents (GitHub & Claude) to build out shareholder-requested modules faster.
Highlights
- Built a 40+ component Atomic Design library in Storybook with centralized TypeScript types
- Established CI/CD with Playwright, Vitest, and React Testing Library
- Reached 90% test coverage across the platform
- Used AI agents (GitHub & Claude) to accelerate delivery of shareholder-requested modules
Challenges
- Bringing consistency to a UI that had grown ad hoc, without slowing down delivery
- Reaching 90% test coverage on an actively evolving platform
- Balancing fast, AI-assisted feature work against shareholder scope changes
