Situation: Redação Online’s legacy website suffered from low performance (Lighthouse score of 40), poor SEO rankings, and security vulnerabilities due to a monolithic PHP codebase embedded directly into WordPress. Task: Lead the complete architectural migration of the core landing page to a modern, decoupled front-end stack using Next.js with Static Site Generation (SSG), establish a Headless WordPress CDN backend, build a dedicated Next.js Backend-For-Frontend (BFF), and enforce robust security protocols. Action: Engineered a high-performance web architecture leveraging Next.js (SSG), Tailwind CSS, and DaisyUI. Decoupled content management by turning WordPress into a Headless CDN backend, and built a dedicated Next.js BFF layer for API communication and security shielding. Implemented comprehensive SEO optimizations (semantic HTML, dynamic Open Graph metadata, SSG pre-rendering). Result: Boosted Google Lighthouse performance score from 40 to 95 points, generated a 40% surge in organic Google search results, strengthened application security, and drastically improved user conversion rates.

Situation: Capitual needed scalable internal web applications and customer support tools to streamline operations across its hybrid banking and cryptocurrency ecosystem. Task: Responsible for front-end architecture, delivering core features, integrating API contracts, upgrading usability and performance, and elevating overall code quality. Action: Engineered web applications using React, Ant Design, Styled Components, GraphQL, AWS, and CI/CD within a Micro-Frontend architecture. Conducted active pair programming sessions and thorough code reviews to mentor developers. Built an automated testing strategy utilizing Cypress for E2E flows, unit testing, and Storybook. Result: Achieved 80% test coverage across critical user journeys and reduced production bugs by 96%, while significantly enhancing internal user experience, team deployment speed, and system reliability.

Developed a complete mobile and web ecosystem for the State of Pernambuco’s education sector. Built a React Native app serving 70,000+ active users (students, parents, teachers, and admins) with real-time class calendars, grades/attendance tracking, school menus, and direct communication. Developed a custom WordPress CMS for school principals, along with 14 secure public blogs and landing pages using React and WordPress. Optimised pages using Lighthouse audit guidelines, implemented unit/E2E testing pipelines, and performed bundle optimization.
